Writer. Designer. Dreamer. Podcaster.
Well, hello there! As you can guess by it being plastered all over this website, I am Brad Covey and I wear many, many hats: writer, designer, dreamer, podcaster, father, son, brother, uncle, reader, gamer, and space cowboy (shiny).
I am someone who puts my all into everything I do and do that passionately.
I started writing when I was a kid and have had a love for it all my life. I’ve played with writing in many different ways including running blogs and having articles published in newspapers. I also worked briefly for a gaming website where I published news articles, reviewed and previewed upcoming games.
I am preparing my first novel, “Why We Start Fires” for a release sometime in the next 200 years and hope that you will check it out.
I built my first website around 15 years old and haven’t stopped since. Designing things has become second nature to me, I’m always messing with something (whether I need to be at that moment or not).
I started graphic design around 16, using various applications including GIMP, Photoshop, Ilustrator, and another application I can no longer remember the name of! I then began my journey into UX design in 2023 with Sketch and Figma.
I have lived all my life in the greater Cincinnati tri-state area and I am a big fan of the Kentucky Wildcats, Cincinnati Cyclones, FC Cincinnati, Cincinnati Reds, and Cincinnati Bengals (Who Dey!).
In 2023, I started planning out with my good friend Josh an entertainment podcast and we launched We’ll Bring the Popcorn in January of 2024.
